In-School Robotics


  • We rent complete RadRobots™ kits so teachers can bring robotics into their classrooms!  


  • Cost is $50 per week or $300 for a 3 month semester rental.  Discounts available for multiple kit rentals. 


Benefits include:  

  • Low fixed cost
  • Kit materials reorganized, repaired, replaced and refreshed each semester
  • No long term commitment
  • Many different robots to choose from.

After-school Club

  • RadRobots™ can be offered as an after-school club! 


  • There is no cost to schools.  (Schools announce the club and provide classroom space for the program)


  • We handle everything else!  (Insurance, registrations, email notifications, pick up and delivery of kits, repairs, problem resolutions, etc.).  Parents can conveniently pay tuition for the club on the RadRobots website.


  • RadRobots can provide a teacher or we will train and pay a generous stipend to teachers at your school.

Rad kit A

Grade K-1

           Includes curriculum with 16

 weeks of lessons, 1 Rad the Robot, 12 Rad the Robot storybooks, over 70 binary coding cards for programming and over 15 other pieces needed to complete the unit.   

     Children will learn about sensors, loops, sequence, debugging, algorithms, sensors and more as they program the robot SCREEN-FREE using the coding cards to re-create the story.  

     Lessons 14 and 15 will teach students how to read binary code and create their own coding cards!

Roo kit

Grade K-2

      Includes curriculum with 12 weeks of lessons, 1 Roo the Robot, 1 Roo the Robot storybook, learning mat and over 50 reusable kinetic pieces.  

    Children can program the robot SCREEN-FREE using tangible coding cards to re-create the story.  Roo has a gyroscope, LEDs, digital sounds, input sensors and more that students will learn to code and control.  

     Advanced students can use additional graphical programming options.

Eddy kit A

Grade 2-3

     Includes curriculum with 8 weeks of lessons, 1 Eddy Robot, 4 different learning mats, a box of compatible Lego bricks and over 40 other items needed to complete the activities. * Lessons 5-8 require internet access and a computer, tablet or smart device in order to program this robot.

     Students design, build and program their robot to complete challenges while learning about parameters, Infrared sensors,  programming piezo transducers and more.

Rad kit B

Grade 2-3

     Includes curriculum with 8 weeks of lessons, 1 Rad the Robot, 1 Robots Use Binary Code student book, over 70 binary coding cards for programming, 1 box of compatible Lego bricks and over 10 other pieces needed to complete the unit. 

       Students will learn about bits, binary code, logic gates, pseudocodes, conditions, whitespace in programming, and more as they program the robot SCREEN-FREE.

      Students will learn to read binary code and create their own coding cards!

My Bot kit

Grade 3-5

     Includes curriculum with 16 weeks of lessons, 1 My Bot Robot, 1 Adventure book, and over 80 reusable kinetic pieces. 

 * Lessons 1-16 require a computer, tablet or smart device in order to program this robot but internet access in not necessary.

     Students design, build and program their robot to complete challenges while using algorithms, variables, temperature sensors, accelerometers, gear trains, pixel displays and more.  

     Advanced students can learn  Python programming.

Bamboo kit

Grade 3-5

   Includes curriculum with 16 weeks of lessons, 1 Bamboo robot, Bamboo the Robot: A Carnival Adventure storybook, a learning mat,  a set of compatible Lego bricks and over 50 other pieces needed to complete the activities. 

 * Lessons 1-16 require internet access and a computer, tablet or smart device in order to program this robot.


 This unit has a carnival adventure theme.

Eddy kit B

Grade 4-5

    Includes curriculum with 8 weeks of lessons, 1 Eddy Robot, 4 different learning mats, a box of compatible Lego bricks and over 60 other items needed to complete the activities.

  * Lessons 5-8 require internet access and a computer, tablet or smart device in order to program this robot.     

     Students design, build and program their robot to complete challenges while learning about Boolean logic, IF statements,  multiple iputs/outputs and more.
